Invited sessions proposal
If you are interested in participating (presenting a paper or organizing an invited session) in the Invited Sessions within the IFAC Workshop CTDSG 2016, please send a tentative of Title and Abstract of your presentation/participation to the chair mentioned in „Call for Invited Sessions“ by 9 May 2016.
Authors invited to contribute to these sessions should submit their full draft papers by 16 May 2016 (see Deadlines).
The session codes for Invited sessions will be generated automatically by the system when a session proposal will be submitted and emailed to the session proposer.
Papers in a proposed invited session will be individually reviewed, and that the proposed invited session itself will also be rated as a whole. To ensure the continuity of the program and that papers addressing similar issues are grouped together, at the discretion of the Program Committee, individual papers may be removed from a proposed session and replaced by appropriate contributed papers. Likewise, selected papers from rejected invited sessions may be placed into the Regular Session.
Call for full draft papers
Prospective authors are requested to submit electronically their papers as a pdf file (between 4 and 6 pages) in IFAC paper format using IFAC PaperPlaza Conference Manuscript Management System by 16 May 2016 deadline.
The templates for the preparation of the manuscript may be downloaded from the Support section of the PaperPlaza/PaperCept submission site. Please visit „Guidelines for Authors of IFAC Papers!“ for detailed instructions.
In order to be eligible for publication, papers submitted to IFAC meetings have to comply with a set of requirements on the style and format of the manuscript and the associated computer file. The main reason behind such requirements is to ensure that all the papers published in IFAC Proceedings are accessible to readers in every region of the World, using a variety of computer platforms, and they have a consistent layout that enables them to be easily recognized as IFAC papers.
Please notice that, although the format and file requirements are only strictly mandatory for final manuscript submission, authors are strongly advised to follow the IFAC guidelines for draft papers submitted for revision as well.
After submission
If properly processed, your submission will be acknowledged by email, providing you with a Paper Identification Number to be used for any further inquiries and correspondence about your submission.
All submitted full draft papers will be blind peer-reviewed by three competent reviewers.
Accepted papers will only be included in the program if at least one of the authors has registered and paid the full registration fee by 15 September 2016 deadline.
The full text of all papers presented at the workshop will be published, after the workshop, on the IFAC Paper Online web-site.
Workshop Proceedings
Proceedings will be distributed to workshop participants at the registration desk on CD.
Starting from 2015, all papers from IFAC meetings (where IFAC is the main sponsor) are published, in partnership with Elsevier, the IFAC Publisher, in the IFAC-PapersOnLine proceedings series hosted at the ScienceDirect web service. All papers published on the web site can be cited using the series ISSN and the individual paper DOI (Digital Object Identifier), a unique industry-standard identifier assigned to every paper.
The final collection of papers from the Workshop (no-show papers will be deleted) will be abstracted and indexed in the International Science Index , and submitted to be indexed in the Google Scholar, Scopus and Thomson ISI’s Web Of Science (WoS).
Copyright of all papers belongs to IFAC and must be referenced if derivative journal papers are produced from the workshop papers.
Special Journal Issues
After the expiry of the deadline according to IFAC Copyright Conditions the selected papers will be published in the Journal Special Issues of the medial partners of the workshop.
