Student Competition

Call is open for all technical universities, faculties and departments in the field of power engineering, and in the field of automation and information technology.

Each faculty or department selects “Agent responsible for competition”, which will ensure a competitive team.
Each “Agent” will be able to invite “competitive teams” from Technical Universities in his country or another countries.

Addressing “Agents” confirm team build during April 2016
Transfer design task ongoing in April 2016
Time for questions and clarifications task to 16 May 2016
The transmission of the results to 1 September 2016
Evaluation of results to 15 September 2016
Sending out information about the results
20 September 2016

Evaluation of the results will be performed by the evaluation committee of the selected members of the IPC CTDSG 2016, under the leadership of chairman – Dr. Jan Veleba. Dr. Jan Veleba is the contractor of the competition task assigment.

Task assignment „Design Task: Optimal Power Flow (OPF) Analysis of the IEEE 57 Bus Test Case” is available after expressions of interest to participate in the Student competition.
